Always a taste sensation with every visit. We always stop by when we're in town. Eating is a dream for every fan and the service is always very friendly.

Nice little restaurant that is always full. The vegan selection is large and everything tastes great. Excellent service, not one rude employee there. I love it! I love coming here.

Today were very disappointed 😞 .. Everyone should adhere to the Corona rules! We are aware of that. Yet many people still see it differently. The JEN frame was full and due to the distance rules we were not given a table or seats. A reservation was - for whatever reason - not possible. 🤨 When we came back after 10 minutes, 2 guests were simply seated at the table that we were denied before. I can not comprehend that.. It's a shame, we're eating somewhere else today!

My first ramen soup. I have to say it tasted pretty good. You can sit inside and outside on the market square. Large selection of different ramen and drinks. Only an explanation of the different ramen variants would be great.

The ramen were really tasty. We sat at the very edge and were unfortunately overlooked a few times by the waitress, but she was very nice. I can recommend it.

Do not eat here. we ordered Garayake with salad and rice which is 9 Euro (8 pieces and salad) and it came 5 Euro appetizer size(5 pieces and barely non salad). i realised that when other customer ordered same food came out. and then we asked them to check our order. the lady who work there and she said "right" and just dish is different thats all she keep telling. so ya.. just wasted my money and my friend food is terrible. The Ramen noodle is uncooked!!!! 25 Euro. wasted and no tips for you guys Don’t eat here, there’s no taste buds Even a German ordered a large menu of 9 euros in the local language, but the size of the appetizer for 5 euros came out, so I checked it three times and said it was correct, and another customer ordered the same menu but the difference was more than half. I asked for reconfirmation, but I wrote a review because I was just claiming that there was only a difference between the dishes. There is not much ramen or soup, and the noodles aren't cooked, so I can't speak German, but my girlfriend is German, so I just paid for it, but it would be really upsetting if I was in Korea. Please do not do business like this... Hier nicht essen. Wir bestellten Garayake mit Salat und Reis Das ist 9 Euro (8 Stück und Salat) und es kam 5 Euro Vorspeise Größe (5 Stück und kaum ohne Salat). Ich erkannte, dass, als andere Kunden das gleiche Essen bestellten, herauskam. und dann baten wir sie, unsere Bestellung zu überprüfen. Die Dame, die dort arbeitet und "richtig" und nur Gericht sagte, ist anders, das ist alles, was sie immer wieder erzählt. Also ya .. habe nur mein Geld verschwendet und mein Freund Essen ist schrecklich. Die Ramen-Nudel ist ungekocht !!!! 25 Euro. verschwendet und keine Tipps für euch

Really good food!

The service is great. The location is unfortunately rather suboptimal with the automatic sliding door, which was almost always open at lunchtime because of the waiting people. The quality of the food is good, at the same time the spices are not well balanced, so that an authentic ramen experience is not given - at least for someone who knows ramen and orders with expectation. Therefore only 3 points.

Super good food and nice service. But you should be prepared for quite high prices.

Not about the food but about the service. My son dropped his little ball into the basement window cell and made a huge tantrum. It was filled with garbage and dust and looked realllllly disgusting underneath the cage. When i asked the waitress if she could get it for us somehow, she listened and was willing to help us. And she actually went into the cell and got the ball with her bare hands! Kudos to the service and will be back if I ever get back to Jena.

Delicious Tantan Ramen!

Super good ramen! That is at the top of what I have eaten far in Germany. The soup is aromatic and not too salty. Don't miss drinks and desserts. The only downside is the staff. Too busy and slow.

Good food,staff and service. You could choose sitting facing the kitchen"really interesting" and see the cooks doing thier work. I would totaly recommend this restaurant to other people.

Miso soup was bland, the beef was cold and didn't had the taste it was offered. Unhygienic to keep the cutlery outside all the time. The menu looked so used it almost fell apart. Not again, sorry.

It was the best Ramen I had in Germany so far. The green tea was also quite authentic. Wish Jena is 'close' enough, I'd come more often.

I travel to Jena alot and today i finally have time to visit this restaurant, where i had my eyes on for awhile now. Disapointed. The spoons and glass were oily and dirty. I end up drinking from the bottle. Ramen was tasteless. For 8e a bowl there was no meat to be seen, the broth was oily and there was no flavor. I have been eating all kind of soups all my life, but this is the first time i didnt manage to finish my bowl. The teriyaki chicken for 5e was also not special. Service was fast and friendly. More not..

Original taste

This is likely to be the best ramen we have found in Germany. With an added bonus of free kids ramen!

It's not particularly expensive, but compared to Ramen in Berlin, it's not on par. It's still okay Ramen, just not especially good.

Super delicious Japanese cuisine in a small bar with a pleasant atmosphere. Price / performance more than fair. Absolutely try!

The dishes are compared to the original Japanese bad. Who knows real good Japanese cuisine will be disappointed here.

Excellent! Great price! Very tasty dishes. The homemade lemonade tastes great, as does the ramen. It is a small restaurant with outdoor area. The only downside is that the toilets are a bit hard to find.

I had the vegan ramen soup with coconut milk. I didn‘t like the taste of the combination of coconut and the chosen vegetables (e.x. corn). The flavour was also a bit boring.

That was the best ramen I have ever eaten! There is really very, very good food here at reasonable prices, fast and friendly service, and a nice atmosphere. I am thrilled and can only recommend the restaurant to anyone who likes Japanese food! :)

Really great ramen.

Wow, great place and a little break like in Japan. I myself found the great welcome, the authentic food and the service as in my favorite Japanese restaurant in Tokyo. The prices here are reasonable and the food makes a difference! Will definitely go here again. Reservations are not possible here. Either you're lucky and get a seat immediately, or you just wait. Somewhere in between there is always a place (as is so often the case in the frame restaurant).

We loved it. I thought that the small bowl was a bit small for me and would get the normal portion next time. The soup it's self was fantastic. The staff was smiley and friendly.

It is definitely the best japanese restaurant in this region. I have been tried so many asian restaurants which they clame to serve japanese food. Most of the time i end up with frustration. This restaurant reminds me my trip in Tokyo last year. Thank you so much!

Original Ramen noodles in Jena? Who would've thought? Food is great and prices are cheap. Go for the Spicy ramen noodle or the one with mushrooms (Pearl Ramen I think?). Only place really worthwhile for Asian food in Jena. Also try the freaky Japanese 7-UP type drink with the marble (Can't remember the name unfortunately...). Only minus-point is that the place is too small! Hopefully they will expand soon?

Really authentic and delicious ramen, without any msg added. Limited space indoors since there are only two big tables and the bar so plan ahead!
